An attractive cone shaped shrub with glossy green lanceolate leaves that flower white star-shaped flowers in spring. The clusters of flowers have a strong smell like Jasmine. Coffee berries turn green to red in time for Xmas. 3- 4 years to fruit. Can also be used as a houseplant. Self-fertile.
Coffee palnts are heavy feeders and require regular applications of a high NPK fertiliser through its growing season.
Suitable for warmer areas including Auckland/Northland
